da bet vitoria: Manchester United are now seriously considering a move to sign a Premier League rival to replace Harry Maguire, according to recent reports.
Roy Keane takes aim at Man Utd's Carrick decision
da bet sport: Manchester United confirmed their decision to appoint Michael Carrick as their interim manager until the end of the season earlier this week. Their former midfielder followed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ryan Giggs to take the role at Old Trafford in a choice which has split opinion ever since.
Whilst Carrick has managerial experience at Middlesbrough, Man United’s appointment has left former captain Roy Keane baffled. He took aim at Old Trafford chiefs on the Stick to Football podcast, saying: “(Carrick) is on the beach two weeks ago with Jonny Evans.
“Jonny Evans leaves Man United four or five weeks ago as a loans manager and then Fletch gives him a job, strangely enough, has two games.
“Fletch goes and Carrick gives him a job. Great, isn’t it? We should all go to Barbados for a week. You’re on about getting your coaching staff in, we’re praising one of them saying he’s experienced (in Holland) and then we just let the other two go, Jonathan Woodgate and Jonny Evans.
Man Utd now racing to sign "excellent" £30m star who Michael Carrick loves
He knows Carrick well…

“What has Jonny Evans done to be a coach of Man United’s first team? He left the job four weeks ago, loans manager and ironically comes back working with the first team. That’s a big step up, isn’t it?”
Those at Old Trafford will get a first glimpse at their new manager this weekend in the Manchester derby. As far as first games go, it doesn’t get much more difficult than that for Carrick.
Meanwhile, as the managerial chaos continues, INEOS have also been forced to continue any potential transfer plans and that includes finding a replacement for Harry Maguire, who is out of contract this summer.
Man Utd seriously considering Maguire replacement
According to the Daily Mail, Man United are now seriously considering a move to sign Murillo in the summer. The Nottingham Forest defender has been part of a season to forget at the City Ground, but that has not deterred those at Old Trafford.
If Forest go down, then the Brazilian’s price tag is also likely to plummet from his current £70m valuation. And that’s when Man United should go all in.

Whilst the £75,000-a-week star has struggled alongside the rest of his teammates this season, Murillo’s stock is still high from last season and not many are doubting his ability to reach those levels and more again.

Murillo would be an upgrade on Maguire in every department, be it in or out of possession, and it’s no surprise that he has received such high praise at Nottingham Forest.
Former Forest defender Joe Worrall described the Brazilian as an “amazing talent” last season and it’s easy to see where that praise has come from. Murillo is one that United should go all out to sign.
